What we make
TeacherTray is a set of browser tools for the classroom: a classroom timer and a visual timer, a team randomizer, a seating chart generator, a noise meter and a grade calculator. Each one works on a laptop, a projector or a classroom TV, and the board tools go full screen with one click.
How we build them
- No accounts. Open a page and use it. Nothing to install, nothing to sign.
- Student names stay with you. Class lists and seating charts are kept in your own browser, never on our servers. See privacy.
- Fair and honest. Random groups use the browser’s cryptographic random numbers. The noise meter shows a level you calibrate, not decibels it can’t measure. Grade scales name the rule they come from.
- Sources named. Where a page gives a fact, such as a grading scale or a sound level, it links to the source.
